Willie James Jennings

The Rev. Dr. Willie James Jennings is an associate professor of systematic theology and Africana studies at Yale Divinity School, where he teaches in the areas of systematic theology and black church and cultural studies. The author of numerous articles, his research interests include these areas as well as liberation theologies, cultural identities and anthropology.

Jennings was a keynote speaker at the Spring Institute for Lived Theology 2013.
