Sam Speers
Sam Speers is assistant dean of the college for campus life and director of the religious and spiritual life office at Vassar College. An ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), he is a doctor of ministry candidate at Princeton Theological Seminary and project director of Secularity and the Liberal Arts, a Teagle Foundation consortia among Bucknell University, Macalester College, Vassar College and Williams College.
Speers participated in the Spring Institute for Lived Theology 2012. He also gave a guest lecture with Kristopher Norris entitled “The Politics of Church: Examining How Churches Engage and Avoid Politics” as part of the series Thursday Nights: Conversations in Lived Theology.
