Mae Elise Cannon is the executive director of Churches for Middle East Peace. She previously served as senior director of advocacy and outreach for World Vision USA.

Cannon wrote Social Justice Handbook and contributed to the SILT publication Mobilizing for the Common Good: The Lived Theology of John M. Perkins.
