Christopher Yates

Christopher Yates is Assistant Professor of Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Art Theory at the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts and an Associate Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture. His academic areas of focus include the history of philosophy, aesthetics, and 19th-20th century Continental Philosophy. His publications include The Poetic Imagination in Heidegger and Schelling (Bloomsbury, 2013) and Philosophy and the Return of Violence (Continuum 2011).
