Allan Tibbels

Allan Tibbels was a founding member of New Song Community Church and Sandtown Habitat for Humanity near Baltimore. He was devoted to addressing issues of education, health care, jobs, economic development, and development of the arts in his community. Tibbels died in 2010.

Tibbels participated in the Spring Institute for Lived Theology 2006 and his work is mentioned in “Signs of the Spirit in the City,” a session in the Spring Institute for Lived Theology 2005. In addition, he is the subject of the article “Dispatches from the Quiet Revolution: Sandtown.”
