Vanessa Ochs
Vanessa L. Ochs is a professor in the department of religious studies and Jewish studies program at the University of Virginia, where she teaches courses in Judaism, the anthropology of religion, and spiritual writing.
Ochs is a member of the second class of the Virginia Seminar in Lived Theology and her Virginia Seminar book project is a “biography” of the Passover Haggadah for Princeton University Press. Ochs served as an Internship in Lived Theology mentor for Kate Farrell in 2013 and for Tessa Crews in 2016.
