AnneMarie Mingo
AnneMarie Mingo is associate professor of Ethics, Culture, and Moral Leadership and director of the Metro-Urban Institute at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Her research interests include the civil rights movement and the South African apartheid movement, socio-religious activism of black women, and theological and ethical influences in social movements. She most recently contributed to a book entitled Contesting Post-Racialism: Conflicted Churches in the United States and South Africa with a chapter called “They Must Have a Different God Than Our God”: Towards a Lived Theology of Black Churchwomen during the United States Civil Rights Movement.
